A new look for ZB MED’s congress calendar

Cologne / Bonn. A new version of the congress calendar of the German National Library of Medicine (ZB MED) went online recently. The calendar lists events from the fields of medicine, health, nutrition, environment and agriculture. For 2010, over 350 international events are listed by now – one of the most extensive calendars of its kind. It now presents itself with a fresh design and many new features:

Scientists and other users will find information about time and place along with links to congress websites and contact information of organizers. Comfortable search and filter functions quickly lead to relevant events. Besides, a calendar tailored to personal interests can be created.

Congress organizers can submit their new events quickly and easily via the new online form. Registration of events is free of charge.

The congress calendar is updated daily. To cover the variety of scientific events as completely as possible, the editorial team responsible for the calendar keeps in touch with congress organizers worldwide.
